Whoa Baby!

I debated what my first TCI blog post would be... this baby gift project is too cool NOT to be first!  Seriously, the awesome to easy ratio is off the charts.  So without further ado, I give you
The Amazing Monogram Taggie Blanket

Isn't she a beaut?  This really only took about an hour to make.  Here is the reverse; I used flannel for the back because of it's tactile qualities.  Who am I kidding?  I used it because it was on sale.

As much as I would love to take credit for this brilliant idea, I really should mention I found the tutuorial here:  Becca at Blue Cricket Design.  Go and check it out.  Isn't hers cute?

I think my favorite part of this is how she thought to clip it to a diaper bag or handbag

And a close up, so you can see it really doesn't have to be perfect

Here are some coordinating burp cloths I made.  Add a few pacifier clips and a paci bag and I think I'm ready for the shower this Sunday!

One more thing:  *Don't forget to prewash your fabric to account for shrinkage*
Blessings!

  4. So cute! I wish I would have seen this earlier! I just sewed some burp cloths for my sister in law and this would have been a great addition to the basket! I'll probably make her one anyway and one for my son!

I'm a new follower to your new blog! I found you from Making the World Cuter.
